So we have a huge family barbeque this weekend and we rent a couple of six foot tables from the local rental store. I pull up to the loading dock to pick up my tables in my '95 900S. I am behind a guy picking up a couple of the exact same tables in his current generation Chevy Blazer. They can't get the tables all the way into his Blazer and are forced to tie the tailgate down to the rear bumper.
My turn: The tables go all the way in diagonally, I dial the front passenger seatback forward, the tables snick into place in the hatch, I shut the hatch door to the amazed look of the store employees and the Blazer driver. I grin, particularly when one of the store employees says "Wow...you gotta love those Saabs. That's German engineering for you!"
I chuckle and let him know he can thank the Swedes. MAN, I LOVE MY SAAB!
