A few notes here:
a) My Cousin drives a S4 which he bought 2nd hand...
trouble free for now... I wish him luck!
b) My work pal drives a S4 which due to constant trouble
with Audi warranty and service is now being serviced by
my neighbour a Toyota dealership. As my pal says, at least
they do what they invoice me for.
c) Another pal of mine has a trouble free A6 2.8L V6 Quattro
d) Mom had a VW and an Audi which both had their share
of engine, gearbox and more trouble...
e) Friend died in brand new A6 due to ESP failure on a
freeway while has was cruising along. Two more of my friends
were luckily not harmed but both remember my friends last words...
"Oh the ESP light is on"... "Someone bought the totaled car from the
insurance company and destroyed it...!"
His wife/widow is now unable to do anything about that.
f) Right now many people are at risk every day cause their
A4/TT will not brake well on wet roads due to a misterious
"wet" LOL brake problem. Like if rotating brake rotors would
stay wet. Yeah sure!
Many people own VWs and Audis and that is fine with me, what
I don't agree with is the VW/Audi attitude of always claiming
that there is no problem, until they are forced to do something.
Do some suggest that it is better if no one points out that
VW/Audi has a some problems? Would it be better if Ford and
Firestone had denied all charges on tire problems?
I believe that it is only fair to point out that the premium
that some pay for VW/Audi products is not worth it cause
their products are not as premium as they sell em for.
And yes our quirky SAABs also have problems but at least
we all know that SAAB will not lie to us when it comes
to safety issues. Volvo also does an above average job when
it comes to this, as does Mercedes Benz.
Some will say I bash VW/Audi... I don't agree cause I can mostly
back up what I say with a Pic or a thread. I don't make up these
stories... I just pick em up and make them available hoping that
some will shop around enough for their next car to avoid those
models that have a serîous flaw. Remind you, I always said that
the A6 with the 2.8L V6 engine is a good car.
Why do I think that a Pic of a S3 with a broken rear suspension
is funny? Cause Audi sells it as a high performance car! And we
all know that this is something that should not happen on a
performance car... bid deadly at speed don't you think?
And such BS marketing makes me lough big time ;)
"Vorsprung durch Technik" Yeah sure...

Coolknight
