Forget about it. For the points on the license you can try but these cops don't give a damn about you except the quota they need to generate. I have first hand experience on this situation.

I'm caught in the middle of the intersection of a 6 lane rd. and the light changes on me. There is no left turn and traffic won't let me thru ( this is NYC where they start driving on the yellow ) I make the left turn to avoid a potential situation from happening and the cops pulls me over instead to holding the traffic to let me thru. He writes me a ticket and tells me to tell the story to the judge.

My second incident I went to court because I had blue lights on the car (parking lights) the cops said that she pulled me over because I had blue headlights and was driving thru a drug neighborhood. She lied under oath not to look incompetent and fabricated or should I say embellished the truth. They gave me 4 tickets! and I had to pay them, lost time by going to court, paid for transcripts to fight the case not to have my license suspended plus some additional fees. Although I had documentation, pictures and everything I needed to prove my case it was still my word against the system. The burden of proof is always on the little people. Its all designed to squeeze the life out of you. There, I've vented again! Good Luck!
