here are a few facts for ya. over the last 10,000 years we are actually on the cold side. the ocean stays at an average 87 degrees. so the hotter it gets the more moisture is let off by the oceans. the moisture(clouds) block the sunlight and thus the temperature falls. finally I even know when the earth is going to end. some time around 2400 the earth is due to have its magnetic fields reverse. north to south south to north. this is a normal event and happened 4 times in the last 50,000 years. when the electromagnetic field that encompasses the earth reverses it will happen over a 100 year period and at some point we will have no real field strength. when that happens the solar wind will bombard the earth relentlessly. NASA has shown that complex cells(heart,liver,etc.) all degrade in space. this is because long lived cells have a process called oxidation which destroys pieces of DNA every day. the cell actually replaces the missing strands. so the coachroach will survive and we will not. actually some will survive but it depends on where they live.
