first go down to the bottom of the page and click on the Mechanics link, then click on NJ link to get a list of NJ mechanics.

I have use Grieco Brothers on Rt 10 East in Whippany, it's a bit west of Novartis (formerly Sandoz). It probably is the closest independent shop from you. The exact address and phone is in the NJ mechanics.

If you don't mind a bit of driving, I would highly recommend Tibor at Swedish Car Service at 261 W. Union Ave, Bound Brook, NJ 732 564 1000. You can rent a car with Enterprise when you drop the car off, it will cost you about $30-40/day.

A reasonable dealer is Reinertsen, you can arrange to have a free loaner car but you may have to wait a while to get an appointment with a loaner. The price is of course dealer quality.

By the way, both shops open half day Saturday, so if you just want an opinion or check them out, give them a call and set up a time.

Where have you taken your car to be fixed ? NY or PA ? Would that be Roberti ?
