I had a Denon deck (best CD player is the bisness) which came with RDS. Yes it worked but there was 1 station which broadcast the signal. All it said was the call letters for the station & there were no traffic warnings, weather warnings, etc. I am in Dayton OH which had no RDS stations, Cincinatti had none as well. Columbus (80 miles away) was the ONLY area RDS was available.
So my guess is it's not worth the effort :o(
