Hey Aero and Jay S.,
I agree with your analyses (sp). To be quite honest, I loved my RX but looking at the kneecaps of deer made me uneasy. I work in the country and I have to drive through wooded areas. Well anyways, I decided among other things, it was time to consider safety. I couldn't be happier but man do I miss the power, brakes and handling. The pedals were perfect for heel and toeing and consequently I drove it mainly with loafers like docksiders.
Again I'll mention the complexity of the sequential turbos, pressure leaks and the general abuse they received ensured most are not running up to snuff. However, with vigilance and some aftermarket parts replacements they are unbelievable. They are so light and fast(0-60 around 5 seconds)!
But Saab safety, room and practability is certainly more mature!
Drive safe!
