For the 900 model(don't know about the 9000). Note all SAABs are good-looking) :
-1993 900t Commemorative 60-80k miles,(you'll have money left to do some performance enhancements too, if you would want that).
-1994-95 900t 60-100k miles, most bugs/problems that consumer reports and the like write about are within the 1st 36k miles(just a guesstimate), exclusive of a V6 that has not been maintained properly. The motors are fine and more powerful than c900's, in stock form.
-1988-91 900spg, you'll have plenty of money left over for repairs (you'll need it). Fun to rinde! Handles much better than any stock ng900. You should also have money left for performance enhancements, unless you get one with 40k miles on it in perfect condition.
-Those are some bthings one could do.I myself would save up more and get a new viggen or an aero.
