Tentatively picked up Meguire's Cleaner ("step 1"; it's a chemical stripper more than an abrasive) and Polish ("step 2"). Will pass on their blended Wax "step 3" in favor of my trusty Race Glaze. Anywho... can anyone vouch for these being pretty good products in terms of a)effectiveness by hand and b)relative ease of use. I mean, as opposed to stopping by a body shop for comparative products by 3M or some other not-sold-in-stores manufacturer? I know some of you rave about Meguires so I gambled on it ;o)
High time to clean/polish the red '85 C900 again before rebuilding the wax (3yrs?). The stuff I had used is all gone, worked well (some rather old fanatic-grade polish I inherited from a relative). TIA,
