On June 20th the Corvette Club of Michigan is having their annual driving school at Waterford Hills. You don't have to drive a Corvette or be a member of the CCofM to participate. Last year there were about 50 cars, and all but 10 or so were 'Vettes. Each group (beginner, intermediate, advanced) got 3 different driving sessions of 20 minutes for a total of an hour on the track. Beginners are assigned instructors that ride as passengers and will guide you through the course. I burned through about 3/4 of a tank of Sunoco 94 that day.

I can't encourage you strongly enough to participate. It's well worth the $100 registration fee.
