You can lease any piece of equipment so used cars can be leased, however it's generally not competitive in that 48 or 60 month financing results in a lower payment than the lease. Not so with a new Saab. Lease payments are substantially less than finance payments. The factory Saab leases are subvented which means they have an artificially low rate. I've seen Saab lease rates as low as an equivallant of 00.16%, sixteen one-hundreths of a percentage point, most run about 1-2%. This is availible only on new Saabs through Saab Financial and can make a new Saab very competitive with the lease or the purchase of a used one.
