Kind of like how Jakob Dylan is cool (Red Letter Days is awesome), but he will always be compared to Bob Dylan, who is a god.
The NG900 is a good car, and kept up with the times, but it just doesn't have the same soul or cult following as the classic.
The NG900 ain't half bad, it's just not a 900.
The C900 (I have an 87) drove like a dream. The handling was awesome. It even tracked straight after a front blowout at 85-90mph. But it was loud and ugly to some. I am glad I found such a wonderful girlfriend who actually liked that car.
My 95 900S, on the other hand, was very popular at first. Then all of my friends started to realize that it was not as comfy. The back seat didn't even compare to that in my 87, and it blends in with everything on the road. When my 87's engine wore out (at 300k, bu the way), even my dad sadi, "well, can't you take the engine out of your new one and put it in your old one?" Yeah, I wish.
But that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
