The AUDI All Road is a very big seller in Mass. As well as the Volvo XC. These are "jacked up" wagons in my opinion. plus VERY GOOD marketing to soccer moms.
Isnt the FX35/45 a hyped up wagon anyway? Its not an SUV,not a wagon.. its a more hyped up wagon than the All Road is. I cant bring it on the beach. However, I think it will sell because its different and its marketed this way. Advertising has been everywhere for this.
It reminds me of the 9-3X prototype. It does not have an identity.
Does it have more room than a wagon? It doesnt look like it.

I really think AWD is over rated in a station wagon. Are you taking this thing off road, on the beach, deep snow, mud trekking?
In New England, it can be argued that AWD is very useful during the winter. I agree but so is my SAAB with 4 snow tires. I can go anywhere that a Volvo XC can go. Read the Volvo literature on the XC. Its hardly an AWD drive car.

My main point being that AWD or 4WD is needed for off road use, I'm going to be off road then I'll park the SAAB and hop into my Trooper.

I sure hope the "FULL SIZE SUV in 2005 is not a GM Trailblazer, Isuzu Accenture or Chevrolet somethinhg or other that is the same exact car. I I also hope its a true Full Size SUV and not a mini-suv. Designed from the ground up. Like the Volvo XC90 which can go off road in sand, mud, etc.
