How about something REALLY different...Got an 85 Avanti'. Before you boo me off Saabnet, let me tell you a bit. It is of fiberglass construction, and all the panels from the hood and fenders back are still interchangeable with the 63' Studebaker original The car is built on an original 63 Studebaker Lark convertible chassis. Powered by a standard 395 HP Chevrolet engine. Doors still have vent windows, factory roll bar, 160 MPH speedometer, etc. Got to have two parts & service manuals to answer the "is this part Studebaker or GM thing. Cars were hand assembled in the old Studebaker South Bend factory, and only 80 were made in 85 (cars were not built unless someone ordered it. Twenty two years with no styling changes, and still graceful today. But to keep things on an even keel, I also own a 74 Sonett.
