"Is there a cure for a slight head gasket leak?"
Yes, replace the head gasket, with due attention to cylinder head flatness and surface texture, test for cracks, etcetcetc. Have the testing and inspection and repair done by a respected operator. Use Subaru parts throughout.
However if you want to go cheap, you can try various things and expect them to last some length of time between zero and forever. On the cheap end, just dump in any of the sealants such as Motor-Purr SealUp which is what I use with generally good results but never any guarantee. Mostly I use it for identifiable cooling system leaks like in the radiator where I know the problem, not on suspected head gasket situations where there is no way to pinpoint the leak. On the less cheap end of cheap solutions, Iron-Tite or various other "ceramic" sealants work well sometimes. Follow instructions carefully which include thorough flush/clean sometimes with auxiliary chemicals to enable the sealant to work properly, and in no instance should you expect a permanent cure. Engine replacement may be more practical.
