All depending on how fast the car was going and engine rpm, it might have trashed the piston tops or not.
The T6 double turbo is a beast to remove the head on and I strongly advice against it when it comes to a customer paying me shop labor to do it but usually suggest to find a good used engine. IF??? the rest of the car is in pristine shape.
Nothing is worse than spending some 15-20 hours on a valve job just to find out that the upper compression ring is pinched and you have an oil burner forever or slight misfire at cold start and a Check Engine light.
