That I didn't ask these questions to debate which is better, Saab or Subaru. They live in far northern MN where the roads don't get plowed immediately after a snow fall. A Saab is not an option for them because they do have their issues that require a special touch meaning a 300+ mile drive to the closest dealer - not the case with Subaru. I know the 9-5 is a nice car, in a whole different class, but that isn't what I was asking. They want/need an AWD full size wagon. The Outback is a nice car, and will do them fine until the kids are a little bigger when I'm sad to say the next step is probably a minivan.
I would reall appreciate this conversation better if I had asked for your thoughts regarding the two, but that isn't really what I was asking.
