It is a different ABS ECU if it's traction control or not.
What was the fault code coming up (314?)
It's fairly simple to replace (about 1 hour charge if the diagnostic sequence was simple).
You can read the partnumber of the old ABS ECU with use of a mirror.
The tricky part is to find an E5 torx socket to loosen the 4 bolts holding ECU to hydraulic unit and to open up the electrical harness that is connected to the ECU.
The harness connector uses a snap lock that needs to be open in a certain way and I can't really in words describe how it's done.
