Hi Cliff, I believe you mean at(p)turbo.com? It looks like they made their own stainless steel open style swing valve assembly and then welded an oval to round (with a band clamp) adapter to it. I do pretty much the same thing by machining a stock swing valve assembly down to where it's also a big open oval and then machine thick wall stainless steel spacers to make up the difference to the bolt bosses. Then you just bolt a flange of your choice on with the modified swing valve assembly. Mine captures a 7 degree transition piece between the turbine housing and the inside of the downpipe flange which totally separates the wasted exhaust so it has it's own path through a smaller tube before it re-inters the main downpipe downstream. The trick is to get a long enough 7 degree piece so it can be cut to just the right size for whatever turbine wheel is used and then tapper on out to 2 1/2". Then you jump to 3" where the smaller wasted exhaust tube inters the main downpipe like Brad did with his C-900 TE05 setup that worked so well. Anyway to answer your question the ATP piece looks very interesting to say the least. JAK has pointed out that the benefits to the big oval outlet are that the flapper valve itself has less restrictions. He said that other than Saab people haven't noticed all that much difference from the open style to the divided type. I'll let everyone know how my T3/4 divided version works when we try it out on Claude's ice race car this season. Take care, Dave
