Have you positively isolated the noise to the LF wheel? If so, well, there are only so many things that rotate up there. If it's not the wheel bearing, or dragging brake pads, then that leaves either inner/outer CV joints or the output shaft bearing on the tranny. Dragging pads are easy to check, just gently apply the brakes when you hear the noise. CV joints typically make noise in corners when they go bad, but not always. I don't know if that is a problem area or not. I'm not sure how to check the tranny bearing.
