If tire pressure is down a little, I find they follow the road more. With cooler weather, that could be the case - easy enough to check.
If you haven't replaced the plugs since you got it, that's the easiest way to improve performance. I change them every year. You can get the same NGK plugs for a couple dollars each at the autoparts store or online. Check the archives for different NGK plug recommendations. (I also noticed a performance increase when I changed the direct ignition cartridge at 40k-something miles)
