over boosting problem Posted by Don [Email] (#1099) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Don) on Wed, 8 Feb 2006 06:53:25 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a 1993 c900 convertible. I have a ECU with a chip in it, group6 red APC box, SPG injectors, and the timing turned up to 19 degrees. I tried bypassing the over boost seloniod under the dash, and just put a 9000 intercooler in. The car runs great, I run on 92 octane and tried putting a manual boost control valve in. When I did it went only to base boost. I put the APC back in and it over boosts all of the time in the cold weather. How can I use the manual boost control valve and get the most out of the turbo?
Thanks Don.
