Jak, I checked it like you advised. There was no moisture in the distro cap, it was clean. I checked under the spark plug cover, clean and dry down there too. The knock sensor is surrounded by wetness (from the burst of coolant.) From what I know about electricity, water messes things up. What do you think? I'll give it another go after I rag it up and the sun dries it up a bit.
Could it be a gapping problem? I'd think not since it did indeed start with the new setup, but 'thinking' is not the same as 'knowing'.
I have to go get a longer bolt to afix water line, the doggone thing stripped. I dont have a tap and die set. I have a 88 900T that the parts all came from, but I would like to avoid changing the intake manifold if possible.
Would putting the original (stop) plug back in place on the intake manifold along with plugging the line itself (basically stopping the water flow to the turbo) be REALLY bad while I grab the flow through bolt? The auto parts gestapo is just up the street.
