the "W" port of the BPC solenoid.
Go for a test drive in an empty stretch of road. In 2nd or 3rd, carefully try to floor the gas, watch the boost, if it goes into red and can stay there then most likely you have a bad solenoid.
I read that you tried another solenoid and you still got the same result, but I would beg, steal, or borrow a known good one from a friend or a mechanic.
Check all your hoses (yes again), make sure it is not opening under boost situation. Also check that your wastegate actuator is connected properly and the retaining clip isn't missing.
If you are sure the solenoid is OK then maybe you can try resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery cable for about 10-15 minutes. However, make sure you have the radio code handy to re-activate the radio, otherwise you need to go to the dealer to get your code.
Let us know.
