Don't use one off a bike.
They are designed for boost at high RPM, unless your sonnett revs to 12k+
You could always change the impeller though.
Mitsubishi TC03-9A (Seca used a TC03-6) was used in the Colt so that's a place to start.
You can pick them up on carpart.com for 200-250 used, there are probably othere sources. I didn't see anything in ebay.
Honda made the CX500T Turbo - so you could look for spares, but only built for a year or two.
For Modern turbos
Citroen C4 1.6, Hyundai Avante/Verna and Forcus 1.6 uses a Garrett gt1544v
some other 1.6 use it too
Kia Picanto 1.1 uses a GT1541V which is the smallest displacement I see.

That has all the info on modern cars.
I'd look on ebay for the other side of the pond.
Lots of little turbo cars over there.
Hope this helps a little.
BTW the old VW MKII diesels were 1.6l so probably a bit big.
