Hmmm - now I'm confused! So I finally had a chance to peep under my hood in the daylight. My C900 has the BPV connected between the throttle body and the compressor inlet. So, during boost, the BPV is closed, the throttle is open, Chaz's rubber bits could get sucked into the engine from the IC. But, when he goes to shift, the throttle snaps shut, the BPV opens - couldn't the rubber bits get sucked right into the compressor? That was my original thinking, and I'm sticking to it! (But I'd be happy to be corrected and learn something new!)
