Hi Saab enthusiasts,
I have indirectly asked this question a few times... but I feel there is still some ambiguity regarding the answer (I in no way am trying to insult any/all of you... I am a layman when it comes to performance upgrades and find this board invaluable in that regard).
My "red box" boosts consistently 1/3 to 1/2 way into the red zone. Does this mean I am getting roughly 10-15 psi? I have no way of knowing as I have not hooked up a boost gauge (or would know how to...).
Would an upgraded (Erik P) APC benefit the consumer in that it would help him/her attain more "red"? or are there other factors such as how quickly the APC will allow you to boost into the red etc?
Would an EriK box get me "deeper" into the "red"?
I have agreed on principle to purchase an Eric P stage 1 box but have some buyers dissonance creeping (if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality... conversed with the greed to get more POWER!!)
I don't think my box is modified as the car appears to be stock otherwise. This question has been bothering me for some time now so your insights would be greatly appreciated!!
THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR TIME!
rob
