Yes, I was able to wire my fan on by taking the high speed relay out and putting in 14 gage wire from each side of the relay and running them to a switch in the cabin. I can now turn on the fan at any time and it does help with heat-soak, especially at low speed or traffic or behind a big truck at low speed. It helps a ton in my opinion, I am able to run more boost for a longer period of time and it seems to work great. I like to turn it on about 2 minutes before I make any pulls and this works the best.
Since the low speed fan relay is still intact, the fan comes on automatically when sitting in traffic or whatever so I do not have to worry about forgetting to turn it on! This makes a pretty big difference in my opinion and another thing that helped a lot in performance was a lower temp thermostat. I put in a 180* thermostat and this helped a lot too, I tried it with a thermostat hack, water flows all the time, but got yelled at a lot about warm up wear and running too tight and additional engine wear, so I went up to a 180* instead of the stock 190*. FYI, I put my car on the dyno with thermostat hack and it gained 15whp over what it did with stock 190* stat!!! The cooling fan on the dyno is an awesome thing to have, it really helped heat soak and the ability to run more boost on the dyno, good luck, John
