I'm not 100% sure on this statement, but from previous experience doing head gaskets. I don't think you can drop the head back on the engine with studs in place.
There is not much clearence because the engine is angled.
I haven't tried using studs so I may be wrong, but the space is pretty tight.
Additionally, stock head bolts and head gaskets seem to hold up under very high horsepower numbers, so why bother wasting money here.
There are plenty of other places to spend the money and get more bang for the buck...
