Thanks Wayne.
Update- my MC internal spring was broken and in pieces at the bottom of the cylinder -thus the resistance at the very bottom and the reason it wouldn't bleed because the piston wouldn't return. Got that repaired and bled the clutch - perfect. Plenty of pressure but the PP won't depress. I think I could push hard enough to blow a seal or line and all I get is a groan out of the PP and it move in less than a quarter of an inch.
Your comment about the release bearing made perfect sense- I thought that must be it. But it wasn't the issue- I'm still stumped.
I also snapped one of the PP bolts in the flywheel- I was using a torque wrench but I think sinse I've R+R so many times the bolt just gave out. I'll get new ones. Now I have to get that stud out and then try to figure out why the PP won't depress. So now it is all out again- for the 5th time- but I'm getting good at R+R-
Any suggestions welcome
Thanks
Dave
