Is the cat in the downpipe in the stock location?
Can you use the rear sensor with the stock wiring?
Your front O2 sensor is probably OK. I made the same mistake.
OBDII is pretty specific. If it says rear O2, then the problem is there,
not in the ECU or in the front sensor.
I had problems with the wires to the rear sensor, but my cat is behind
the flex and needed a extension cable to reach the connector. I'm an
electrical engineer, not a tech, so that should tell you where the problem was.
