I understand why you would want to put one on a car as not to dirty the IC,pipes and not to let fumes burn in the motor, but do the breathable ones let a certain amount of dirt in the motor. Is the motor sucking or blowing through the breather or both ? There have been comparison test with stock intake filters and K&N type and oil has shown to have much more dirt in it with the K&N type. Would this be the case with a breathable catch can also.
