Once you get a Viggen (or other car with lots of boost), you will appreciate what midrange RPMs and turbo do together. Then you will be hooked and use that more. You may get tickets. A Viggen is great for 40-100+mph on the highway. As a former Viggen owner/enthusiast, it's much easier and cheaper to just get a Viggen than to turn a normal 9-3 into a Viggen.
I would also suggest a driving school. Most people would not learn how to get the performance the Viggen (or other tweeked car) can do, or it would take years instead of a weekend. Sort of analagous to having a fast computer but not knowing how to use it fast.
