Depends on how many miles you put on it. It could be bad alignment, or normal if the tires were not rotated after a bunch of miles and they were soft tires. If one tire was a lot worse than the other, it would be easier to fault the alignment.
I think the normal Viggen alignment causes inside wear. When I had one, I would half wear down the tires, move them to the back to finish wearing them down, then buy more tires for the front when the fronts were worn again. I went through 3 sets in 7 years (about 50,000 miles)
