was in the dealer for some minor work and was talking to the sales guy about the turbo x. they actually have one as a demo car (fully loaded: nav, touring, etc.) with the 6speed. i had to take it out.
my thoughts are:
- love the wheels
- from the back it looks kind of like a saturn
- love the front layout (grill, lights, etc)
- sits a little high for the styling, could use .5-1" drop
- interior - bose stereo sounds great, like the carbon fiber,
- power - i expected a little more, it did not feel as nibmle as the 06 aero with bsr stage 1
- handling - outstanding. i really pushed the car hard and the all wheel drive was incredible. could not make the tires squeal or even make the car feel uncertain in turns. (i was actually doing about 70-80 on storrow drive mid day, no traffic, and it was quite an experience. in fact i did not realize i was going that fast until i looked down. the car just felt so sure-footed and stable. i think it would be too easy to get into tight situations with it.) only real concern i had was that if the car ever does exceed its limits, its not going to be pretty...
over all, love the car. i'd like to see what a bsr stage 1 does for it. i think the car needs a little more power to make it feel more nimble, but the handling was just incredible. i will probably be looking at them in about 27 months when they come off lease.
just my 2 cents...
