anybody else tried this? Also, more info on my set-up Posted by TODDMO [Email] (#493) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TODDMO) on Wed, 31 Dec 2008 15:01:08 In Reply to: Re: Searched: Need more info on "dual rear sway bar", sam96CS [Profile/Gallery] , Wed, 31 Dec 2008 13:58:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I looked at the Abbott site. Thanks for the link. The set-up on my car is almost exactly like the Abbott set-up. The 2nd bar clamps to the stock bar and follows the 90 degree bends. It stops just before the last bend on the stock bar (where it connects to the suspension/hub/axle. I'm curious just how much oversteer is available if I accelerate into a bend and then back off. I have an old 911, so I'm used to trailing throttle oversteer. I'm more concerned about stability in poor conditions. Also, in theory, this set-up is giving way too much roll stiffness in the rear VS the front. I'd much prefer a "neutral" attitude through turn.
