It runs the 40's fine, maybe a tad fat at idle. You should see more peak boost than 18. If you have access to a Tech II you can see if it there is pre-detonation. There is also a way to hook a light to the knock sensor to check, do a search. Check the preload on the wastegate, if its stock you probably need a helper spring. If your fuel pump has been replaced with a generic (smaller) unit it could be holding you back. But most importantly, check with the software supplier for your unit.
