years ago, and I thought it was really nice. I think it was running like 4 lbs of boost.
My 92 S is a really nice rust free car with nice paint and a nice interior. It deserves a turbo. I'm gathering up all the parts I need now. I'll probably do the conversion in the fall when the weather isn't so nice. I'm going to keep the keep the EZK ignition, and basically just install the turbo, its intercooler and all of its plumbing. I'm not sure how I'll handle the vacuum lines for the APC solonoid, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. The donor turbo I have is a water cooled garret. An oil only one would have been easier, but this turbo is in good shape, and its all I have. I'd also like to avoid adding the oil cooler, so I guess the water cooled turbo is better in that aspect. I'm also going to try to leave the N/A cat back exhaust. I guess it will work since the cat is the same for both the turbo and N/A versions in 1992. I just put the exhaust on it two months ago. I don't want to scrap it for the turbo exhaust.
Where is the plug in the head for the water line to the turbo?
