With a street vehicle, you get on the gas, get up to speed, then get off of boost. With a SMBC or MBC+A, you get to speed faster and thus you are on boost for a shorter amount of time. So you spend less time on-boost. So more heat for less time, sort of not a bit deal for the turbo.
You need cooler plugs in some cases, should not use platinum plugs and need to keep combustion deposits under control with something like Techron Concentrate that will also keep the injectors clean. With higher loads, run a good [5-10-15]W40 oil.
