There are two walls ... one is the RPM cut in the eprom. I have chips made that are stock fuel but with a RPM cut eliminated.
The second wall is the AMM reading air flow ( or if you insist to call it boost ) that converts it to voltage. Once the voltage rises to a certain point, it tells the ECU to cut the fuel.
If you have a 3 in exhaust and of those mods, and are not hitting the fuel cut from the AMM, then you either don't have the throughput of flow, or the turbo is not boosting enough.
I had a stock turbo, no cat and a straight exhaust ( stock diameter ). As soon as I put on the talon side mount IC, it went into AMM fuel cut. I had already installed the defeated eprom rpm limiter chip as well, so it wasn't from hitting rpm limit.
As soon as I installed the Split Second voltage clamp, the fuel cut was corrected.
