Both the Volvo and Saab TD04 turbo's use banjo bolts with (4) 3.5mm holes, like you say same as the coolant lines. These are quite large as they're for oil supply not restriction. The restriction is within the turbo itself. Your TD04 has a 2mm hole that feeds one of the journal bearing which is connected the the second bearing bore. There is a 5mm hole that feeds the thrust bearing but the hole in it that feeds the rest of the thrust assembly pieces is only a 1mm hole. In other words the oil has to get past what little end play the thrust actually is and through the inside and outside clearances on the journal bearings which combined is not over .1mm on these smaller turbos. Anyway the banjo bolts you have are correct! Dave at SPG9 Custom Turbo's
