700-710whp seems to be the limit of the stock rods. This is 8900 limiter. It munched a couple valve guides and hurt #2 piston and turbine wheel. Leftover from breaking a stock B204 rod bolt 2 years ago. This time I just filed the piston back to the right shape, only used a new headgasket. Reused rings etc. From here we turned the boost up. Got a bit more than expected. Somewhere around 40-45psi the #4 rod folded, exiting stage left, right and bottom. The cough down low is the second rail of 1000s turning on. Niras a bit crude, compared to Motec etc where you can blend them in and out. it stays above 5k all the time on the track anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toGQZ5VvLYs
