The discharge is via the side port. A hose adapter is attached to the end opposite the vacumm tube hose barb.
The web page shows the 30mm unit. You want the 25" unit, which fit fine on my 95SET. The hose barb needs to point towards the radiator. The hose fittings fit the stock hoses just fine. On my 95SET, I shortened the coupling hose that goes from the 2" tube to the BP valve. I cut about 3/4" off of it, so that the two 1" metal hose barbs are touching when coupled up. This did two things, it kept the original 1" rubber return discharge hose in the original location, and kept the top of the bypass valve from having to hide under the sheetmetal that goes across the rad, lights etc.
The vehicles with the plastic pipes from the IC to the throttle, MY2000+ I believe, probably have a different location for the bypass valve.
So to answer your question, the TurbXS valve fits the stock hoses. Both it and the Bosch units have 25" hose barbs. The only major difference is that the BP valve small hoe barb faces forwards, and the small hase barb on the Bosch faces the battery.
