Usually a ecu upgade will come with model specific instrutions on adjusting the wastegate. I would have thought your ecu would have come with a new one. Youe best best is to call the company you bought the upgraded ecu from, they can in a few words over the phone explain the proper set-up. Once you have gotten at it and are able to screw and unscrew the preload arm its a total no brainer. I kept shortening the arm for more boost till I hit the ECU boost cutout, once there I backed it off one turn. My car ran almost the same as with the stock ecu till I adjusted the wastegate.
