Will new wheels+springs fit??

I want to install 215/45/17 tires (and new rims of course) as well as Eibach springs lowering 30mm on my 9-3.
While I was ordering the Konis (the front ones are hard to find for the 9-3), the guy at the shop told me that rubbing could be an issue. With the fender gap reduced by 30mm, and the wheel radius increased by 5.15mm the distance in the wheel arch is significantly reduced.
Has anyone tried this combination? Also, how much does the Viggen lower -I think less than 30mm..
Perhaps I will be forced to have the Konis quite stiff to prevent any tire contact.
