Micke,
I guess you must have seen the "interesting" dyno charts produced by Saab by now? Any comments?
For all of you who have not had the oppertunity to take a look at it, some background and info:
Two documents, apparently originating from Saab, are circulating within the swedish saab turbo community right now. The documents contains the results of dyno runs and analysis made of CC and Nordic Step 3 kits for the 9-5 Aero. The results are amazing:
Nordic: Almost no powergain at all and definitely far from claimed 300bhp. Exhaust temp reaches dangerous levels (>1100C) even during short (a few sec) WOT runs. Exhaust mainfold, valves etc will die sooner or later. Knocking reached unacceptable levels, will result in engine damage.
CC: Produced less (!!!) power than stock. Knocking was not a problem but exhaust temps reached high levels (>1000C).
These tests were performed last year. There may be updated versions of the software available that does not produce these amazing results. I hope.
Br,
Mathias
