Steve,
Very nice job and car! I was investigating pods recently myself as I wanted to install two guages. I am a member of autospeed.com and they have an article on how to make your own pods, although I did not decide to try it. I made the same choice of guages as you from the Auto meter Phantom line, but decided for a console location. I agree with you about the convenience of the A pillar location however. I selected an air/fuel guage that works with LED's to indicate mixture. I cannot see in the pic whether yours is a needle guage or the LED type. Have you found it helpful? I installed it before I begin to do my fuel and ignition upgrades to monitor the mixture. I am hoping it will help me maintain better adjustment of upcoming mods. (RRFPR and AID) Do you have any other aftermarket guages mounted in other spots, and if so what are you monitoring? I am currently building a digital guage to monitor intake air temperature. (another autospeed.com project) I hope to improve airflow through intercooler to make more hp.
Regards,
John
