I am curious as to some of the specs of the newer 2.0L 205hp engine. Especially max boost, turbocharger make/size,and compression ratio(9.2?). I assume it is free of balance shafts.Compared to the 2L in my 88 9KT, the HOT is obviously more powerful(duh), but what intrigues me is the seemingly wide powerband (peak torque at 2.2k rpm/power at 5.5 r's). Is this just a result of a more efficient turbocharger combined with (much) more sophisticated engine management? Or are there major changes in other components?
