Hey Mike,
I placed a carbon fiber NACA duct down in the front side(behind)of the bumper. (This is NOT the same as WASSAAB's )Inside of the brake duct tubing I have placed a NASCAR brake fan in line. They have a 3" O.D. and wire to 12 volts. Nascar uses these to force-feed air over the brakes. They pull at 250cfm's wich is pretty damn strong when you combine that with the force feeding of the air at driving speed. I also have mounted a 350 cfm puller fan behind my intercooler(85'style all aluminum)that I have polished and chromed for a little more air flow. The tubing exits in front of the IC with a piece of additional tubing over the K&N. Total cost= $75! The IC fan was new, the brake cooler fans were off of one of Tony Stewarts old cars!($10) As for the hp gains, I don't know, because i did a lot of stuff all at the same time, so it wouldn't be fair for me to make a claim. By touching the intercooler(it's just warm now instead of burning hot) one could assume that it has made a large difference. It should also help on a dyno run due to the fact that it forces concentrated air on the necescary components, versus speed produced air flow.
