Saab use a so called "static measurement", which basically means that your car will produce 185 hp for a looooooong period of time, whereas BSR and most other tuning companies se a so called "dynamic method", which essentially is measured over a shorter period of time and thereby often produces measurements some 10-15 % higher than comparative static numbers. Especially so on a turbo car where the EGT's are a great factor to be reckoned with... The dynamic numbers aren't affected much by EGT's, whereas if you want to achieve that kind of numbers statically you need a lot more mods such as turbo upgrades, 4-2-1 headers, bigger IC etc etc.
So it all boils down to which method you chose. I think BSR are one of the few companies I've seen that don't compare "apples" to "pears"...
